The N4DSC08 is an upgraded 8-channel RS485 DS18B20 temperature logger designed by eletechsup. Compared to the previous version, it features several improvements. For example, by configuring the ''Sensor probe mode'' register, it can adapt to sensors of varying lengths and specifications, making it compatible with DS18B20 sensors from a wider range of manufacturers.

In order to collect temperature more stably, it is recommended that the cable length of the DS18B20 probe should not exceed 15 meters.

1 For probes less than or equal to 5 meters, the default settings can be used

2 When the probe cable is greater than 5 meters, data can be collected correctly under normal circumstances. However, some manufacturers' sensors are incompatible and cannot collect data correctly.

The following modifications can be made:

1 Set the 0X00F3 register to 1.

2 Change the RA1/RA2 resistor to 3.9K or 2.7K resistor.
